About

I studied computer science at ETH Zurich. The summer before I started, I interned at Procivis, a digital identity startup (later acquired), which gave me my first look at how a young company works.

A lot of what I learned at ETH Zurich happened outside the classroom. I joined the ETH Entrepreneur Club and started out organizing its events, which took place on two continents. The biggest drew over 1,500 people. Later I led the club, which had more than 50 members and over 25 startups working out of its co-working space.

In my studies, I focused on machine learning. I majored in Machine Intelligence, worked as a teaching assistant, and wrote my master's thesis at Stanford University on using machine learning to detect pregnancy complications early. My advisors were Prof. Nima Aghaeepour, Prof. Ivana Maric and Prof. Valentina Boeva.

After graduating, I wanted to build products that people actually use. I joined mimicry as a co-founder. The company uses AI to replace legacy software, and I handled business development, from our first customers to our first partnerships. Then I moved into product management at Goldbach, where I led Inventory Forge, a project that used machine learning to predict viewer behavior and create new ways to target ads.

Today I lead the product at Saipient, where we build Isaac, an AI assistant that handles documentation, billing and forms for doctors. It's already used in Swiss practices and clinics.

I learned something in each of these roles that I still use today, and I'm grateful to the people who gave me those chances.
